Below is an announcement from our Mass Premier Soccer partners concerning tryouts for their club teams:
Dear Parents and Players,
The Mass Premier Soccer (MPS) Knights/Lady Knights, situated primarily North of Boston and in the North Shore area, are delighted to announce our tryouts for the upcoming 2013/2014 season (http://masspremiersoccer.com/premier/tryout-information/).
The MPS Knights (Boys) and Lady Knights (Girls) Junior Premier (U9-U12) and Premier Teams (U13-U18) cater for motivated and talented young players looking to take their game to the next level. The MPS Premier Program (http://masspremiersoccer.com/premier/about/) is for young players who aspire to achieve excellence in their game. Our emphasis is player-centric, with player development the number one priority for the club and all our coaches. Focused on technical, tactical, physical and psychological development – MPS creates a unique environment taking players on a structured pathway towards maximizing their full potential.
MPS Key Points:
The MPS Knights and Lady Knights are a member of the New England Premiership (www.nepremiership.com). Our distinctive competitive calendar and tiered curriculum gives players the opportunity to continue their development year round:
- Member of New England Premiership www.nepremiership.com
- Member of the United Soccer League www.uslsoccer.com
- Winter MPS Futsal Programming
- Year Round Tournament Opportunities
- Residential and Day Camps
- Summer League/Tournament Play
- Global Premier Soccer Regional Training Centers
Throughout Global Premier Soccer (GPS), we have won 16 National Titles and over 60 State Cups. Whilst winning is not our exclusive priority, this speaks volumes to the level of coaching and programming available at the various GPS affiliates – for which MPS is the original franchise. This winning tradition GPS has established is based on each player improving significantly over the time they are with the club. The success of GPS programs is testament to the pursuit of excellence and the club’s ability to take players to a higher level of understanding of the game. Additionally, and of greater importance to us, we have 9 current or former GPS players playing for their respective National Teams.
